Aweful : Stainless Steel Security Wallet
Unfortunately, this stock seemingly proved to be nothing more than a cheap knock-off. After having it less than a month, it began to fall apart.
The steel is real, but the threading/binding that holds it together seems to be some weaker material. After being in my pocket for the first month, the wallet began to break into manifold pieces of steel- no longer even a wallet. For the short time the wallet was no ifs ands or buts intact, its edges collected nasty amounts of lent all nearby the loose threading. Worse of all, the sharp corners no ifs ands or buts punctured holes in my new Levi's' pockets. Quite disappointing...
I've been wanting to try a stainless steel wallet for quite a while, and I think I got what I paid for with this one. Being fair, it's hard to say whether this wallet was cheap or whether all stainless steel wallets would have similar issues. I have nothing to compare it to, because I have yet to buy any other ones. Most other ones I compared to when shopping were considerably more expensive (by $50 or more). I'm debating whether to give other one a try.
Because of nothing to compare to, I'm hesitant to totally knock this one. Just be cautious when purchasing this wallet. If you have the option, check out other wallets in a store and in person; where you can touch and feel them.
